1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business name. Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Paystack. We do not store card numbers. Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Platform, including campaigns created, screens booked, and feature usage. Device Data: For playback screens, we collect heartbeat data, IP addresses, and user agent strings for monitoring purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Platform; process payments; communicate with you about your account and campaigns; generate analytics and reports; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: Paystack (payment processing); OpenAI (AI content generation — only the prompts you provide, not personal data); venue partners (aggregated, anonymised campaign performance data only); and law enforcement when legally required.

4. Data Security

We use encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sensitive settings like API keys are encrypted using Active Record Encryption. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account. Campaign and billing data is retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support.

6. Your Rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@advertisetoday.ng.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels on the marketing website.
